The grandson of the legendary [Sairoh], Shinro was raised by his grandfather and dreamed, one day, to be a merchant as great as he was. Shinro lost his parents at a young age and spent most of his time with his grandfather. This was the reason behind his desire to be just like his grandfather.
Shinro joins the Prince's army when he sees how the Godwins hinder trade with their militant policies. Although he is quick to mention he can't fight, he can give the Prince's army what they need to fight better.
The quirkiest thing about Shinro is a large abacus that he carries around with him. Many people think it's just to impress his customers and a conversation piece, but he actually does use it to factor change.
