|<< Tir McDohl||Toma||Tomo >>|
Because of the lack of water in Lordlake, getting water for someone who is ill is often a challenging feat with the wild animals around, but Toma often does it to help his sick friends. When he goes out, he is attacked by Ulse and rescued by the Prince, whom he immediately snaps at in disgust because the Queen caused the damage to Lordlake, and the subsequent sickness, lack of water, and desperate animals.
Toma meets the Prince again when the royal, now split from Barows's camp, wants to assist Lordlake. Toma thinks the idea of the Prince doing this is laughable, but decides he's going to go with the Prince and make sure that, if he's really serious about helping Lordlake, Toma's going to make sure he does it right.
Toma hides behind an extremely tough facade and often adopts a bullying stance around the Prince and the beavers, and speaks very harshly, such as his idea of forcing beaver cooperation as restitution for building Hatred Fortress.
After the plan to attack Hatred Fortress was underway, Toma protested the danger to Lordlake, but Lucretia had already addressed that point. When Raja stated that she was ready to go to battle, Toma said he would bring people from Lordlake as well to attack. Toma's change of heart comes from his thought that, before, he believed Lordlake should be helped because it was owed to them. But when he saw the Prince, who was constantly jaded, manipulated and abused, constantly fighting despite these things, he realized that if Lordlake wanted something, they should work to get it themselves. In gratitude for saving Lordlake, Toma joined the Prince's army.
Toma is known to be a natural leader among the kids of Lordlake, and has excellent reflexes and instincts. He is trained to fight by Galleon and becomes a Queen's Knight apprentice soon after the war. - Matt 620 (article), Basel (image)
