That's a damn good question. I always pronounced it Lat-je, with a silent k.

I pronounce it with the k and see no reason, why you shouldn't...

Okay now that I look at my gaiden manuals they write his name as ラトキエ or ratokie in romanji.

I always pronounced Lek-Naat. Which is the middle ground of your two pronunciations.

For Leknaat, I say Lek-Nawt.

As for Latkje I do Lawt-Jay I just leave the K silent.

heh heh, sorry I'm not the French type of person..

I've just always said it the non french way. Cause like if it was french wouldn't the X and D be silent?

I pronounced it Bad-oh. -eaux usually is pronounced oh if I recall correctly. Like Bordeaux, the city. Bor-doh.

Thats hard name...I either believe out of a Scandinavian language we say Latje or Latke
