Re: suikoden PC version
Suikoden 1 was officially released on the PC in Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. I have actually seen all 3 versions in person, I own the Japanese and Chinese versions. Suikoden II as far as I know was only released on the PC in China, again it was officially released by Konami. I own that version as well. To my knowledge Suikoden II was never released on the PC in Japan or Korea.
Both versions have redrawn sprites for better quality, as well they are displayed in slightly higher resolutions than the playstation versions. To say the least they do look incredible, especially the redrawn character art.

Re: suikoden PC version
Very interesting indeed.
I wonder whether they had some glitches fixed (like they had in PS PAL) or not?

Re: suikoden PC version
I always thought the Chinese PC version of Suikoden II was an unofficial (read pirated) release like they are prone to do, especially since there wasn't a Japanese version released, but looking at the images they seem to have had access to the original files cause the graphics are much improved over the Playstation version, smoother. Just looking at the portraits makes that obvious...
Now that's a version I'd like to see properly translated into English.

Re: suikoden PC version
Sprites from that version were available somewhere... the character art looked noticeably different. It made me think they re-drew the art the characters appear more acceptable to Chinese culture, etc. I recall Sierra looking fairly different.
