when joshua and humphrey went to fight zombie dragon joshua decided to give Anos his dragon rune if he dead so why he give it now to milia

Anos
Origin: Goya, Dragon's Den
Position: 3rd Tier Dragon Knight
Anos is a third tier dragon knight who was second in command to Joshua before Milia. When Joshua and Humphrey left to defeat Sterling, Joshua planned to have his Dragon Rune given to Anos if he died while fighting the zombie dragon

Millia probably proved to be more qualified or perhaps Anos passed away. Hmm, nobody knows except for Konami.
