She died in childbirth didn't she? Or shortly after. She looks remarkably similar to Jillia (her daughter).

That is right, she died shortly after Jillia was born. But, Jillia is not Agares's daughter. (I believe this is also mentioned here, in this site- Characters, Sara Blight.)

He hates him because of things he had done in the past. I think he did some nasty things to Luca's mother too: he could not protect her before she died.

Yeah, Agares simply ran away when Sara and Luca were abducted. Luca thought of him as a coward for running away.

There's no picture of Sara Blight, which is too bad. However, in Suikogaiden, Luca tells Jillia that the only reason he tolerates her is because she looks like Sara.

Either Konami made a mistake, or pregnancies last longer in Suikoden.

Either way, Jilia is not the daughter of Agares.

This statement doesn't compliment the fact that Jillia was borned after the incident. Why does Luca have to rise up a matter that happened even before Jillia was borned? If he is to imply that, must as well, he says he is not MY father, because Luca was involved in the kidnapping as well.

Nope, Jillia is definitely a daughter of one of those ruffians who raped her mother. Luca said Agares was not Jillia's father because he is, in fact, not Jillia's father. But, to be more specific, we cannot know for sure who Jillia's father truly is, but we can rest assured that it is not Agares Blight.
