The Growth Badge increases EXP for the entire party by 20%. Many players were not sure if it was working, because it didn't seem to increase an individual's EXP compared to an ally at the same level, but you can observe the 20% increase by comparing not having it equipped to the party and having it equipped.
The Growth Badge won't work if the character who's wearing it is in an Attendant slot.
