Re: Pros and cons of SV
The only thing I put in the negative corner is the fact that there are way too many loading screens... but that would be all.
I also like the way they made the HQ. Similar to Suikoden 1. I would have like the mix between town and castle... Town like S2 and Castle like in 1 and 5.

Mess with the best, die like the rest!

Re: Pros and cons of SV
Let's see...
Pros:
1) The ability to bring additional party members and swap them in and out of combat (even the hero and bodyguard!) so you're not always stuck with the same characters.
2) The return of many runes and features that were missing from S4, such as skill settings, tutors and using shopkeepers on the fly.
3) Full scale major battles featuring both water and land-based combat!
4) Duels with unique animations that suit the different opponent's weapon and fighting style.
5) Lively, vibrant characters with rich dialogue and well thought-out personalities and relationships.
Cons:
1) Top down camera angle was a very bad idea for this game. Makes me feel too isolated from the drama.
2) The beginning drags on and takes too long for the action to kick in. Too much talking and politics, not enough exploration and fighting.
3) Environments were poorly designed, and looked like they were built out of duplo blocks.
4) Haud village.
5) Beavers.
