ok, I have searched every freakin' square inch of castle to find the kid, nothing. Yes, I've been to the library, the inn and inspected elevator shaft, I then proceeded to the passage way and took the passageway leading to the graveyard/ship with the rays of light. still nothing, what am I doing wrong here? Apparently all of these FAQS are missing a content since I have looked at everyone followed them to the letter and still no results or kid

A child named Thomas gets lost, and eventually after searching around, I think Juan will tell the group he went to Mt. Hei-Tou.

Oh he's trying to find Thomas. I thought he was Thomas and was looking for some other kid.

I don't know if you got it or not but actually, both are Thomas.

So Thomas is looking for Thomas.

An excerpt from a walkthrough here:

Head into the main house and go to the library. Next, go downstairs
and look at the broken elevator to the right of the main stairs. After the
cutscene, go downstairs toward Muto's warehouse. Take the passageway right
before you come to Muto's counter. Head toward the big opening where rays of
light are coming through. That's it for the house search. Go back outside and go
talk to Juan in his usual spot.
