Since you seem to prefer walls of text, here's a little something for youDazz wrote:Keeping it simple meaning writing some words on an image that Konami already made?
That's what a good ad is, simple. A short message that attracts attention, cool art/graphics, high review scores, etc. is what makes people interested. An ad is only supposed to make you interested, throw enough good simple ad's at people and they will buy the product.
While more text and images is often actually "better", most people simply won't bother. Sad, but true.
Think along the lines of movie posters and headlines of a newspaper for good examples.
Also, you can't really improve that piece of art, so I just let it be. It's either using existing art or making something from scratch into a proper ad. That takes a lot of time and effort, I'd say at the very least 6 hours, possibly more if you want something great.
If I had around a month to do it on, I might've found the time, but 7 days with a tight schedule? Not enough.
I don't care about the contest, I simply decided to contribute. No need to get snippy.
