the Dunan Unification War took place in IS 460, yet Gadget is "upgraded" 14 years later? what's up with the ending scene where a bunch of shop specialists gang up on Gadget and pump him up? also, i'm not familiar with Suikogaiden, but doesn't he make appearances in that / at what time periods?IS 474

According to the character list he's in Suikogaiden Volume 2.
Found a pic of him from the guide on the site. Apparently you get teleported 10 years into the future so, 10 years or so from Suikoden 2 Gadget is still just Gadget.

Not sure about the ending, perhaps they were just fixing him up without really upgrading him noticeably. *shrugs*
