Are Warlock and Simeon previous incarnations of Mazus and Crowley?

Post by KingSpilly »

Crowley and Simeon are already implied to have the power of reincarnation, since their massive battle happened before they were officially born. Much like Mazus and Crowley, Warlock and Simeon are old, powerful sorcerers with mysterious pasts. Mazus's character page mentions how Mazus never quite measures up to his master Crowley and is always doing experiments involving magic, which could correlate with how Warlock ends up summoning creatures from another world (possibly in an effort to out-do Crowly, or maybe just to fund his experiments), and Simeon ends up being the one to step in to clean up the aftermath (and expose some massive safety issues with rune cannons that Warlock refused to disclose to his customers, further damaging Warlock's PR in the process). Also, Warlock's character page states that he took some effort to prevent his imminent lynching, but evidently didn't try that hard despite being a powerful sorcerer who's probably powerful enough to fight off a group of vigilantes, which would make sense if he could just reincarnate anyway; reincarnating would let him continue his experiments with a clean slate. It could also explain why Warlock doesn't appear to have a real name; his experiments and efforts to surpass Crowley take precedence over establishing some kind of identity for his current incarnation. Also, assuming Warlock reincarnated shortly after he got killed, he would still be well into adulthood by the time Mazus and Crowley would have had their battle.
