You're attentive. I just recently noticed some of the lots I was watching were no longer available. Your above statement makes sense.

Yeah that’s a total insane price for 556. I bet even the owner is shocked they got a bid.

I guess it’s a moneybags collector. I hope they wanna buy some of our starter box duplicates for those prices lol.

It sucks we have another collector to contend with. Toji is already bad enough, buying everything! :D

CS1 vol1&2 promos (cs1 promos that don't start with CNxxx) have white back, it's normal.

I've just bought stuff twice in the past 2 years (they were good stuff but that's all). I'm like you guys with mercari, proxies aren't fast enough for westerners.

Not me. I tapped out at $150 on that one and just watched it keep ballooning out of control. I knew it was bad news when I was trying to put in a bid and then numbers were going up faster than my page would load lol.

Almost $1,000 USD. Insane.

Wow, that end bid price is ridiculous! How rare are those cards?

Well, kinda rare I guess?

Difficult to quantify, but due to vaning popularity Chapter 2 Vol.4's were only sold by the Konami shop so it's rare to see unopened packs in the wild because there's no new old stock to find in backroom of stores.

I wonder if Eiyuden has had some impact on the interest of these cards. Seems as if we have had an uptick of interest since announcement. Always strange when we have big buyers who are not a part of our group here.

There are a lot of new collectors since the pandemic started. Today I have met a new one from my country who began his own Suikoden collection two years ago. Guess Eiyuden helped too.

fyi all of these were sold today between 2 and 15minutes after they were put on sale...to me it seems way overpriced...

considering the rapidity, and unless there's an extremly fast proxy service I haven't heard about, it seems japanese collectors are at it too...(it's pretty strange , during years it seemed only westerners were interested in suiko cards)

Would this be expensive for a beginner like myself to get into now? I'd love to start collecting these cards.

Agree, overpriced. What do the search words translate to English? I do even see these listings. I'm assuming due to my time zone but even when I look at sold items, they are not there.
