I am not very mathy, so forgive me if I am just not seeing something obvious but...it seems like an 8 for growth is better than a 9 or 10?
With growth 7 your ending stat will be 151-249.
With growth 8 your ending stat will be 170-255.
With growth 9 your ending stat will be 129-236.
With growth 10 your ending stat will be 144-242.
At the bottom it did have notes that the 9 and 10 will usually increase their stat by the higher amount for level 22-61, and the lower amount for 62-99, and that growth 8 will increase for the lower amount 22-61 and the higher amount 62-99. So I guess there is that, but still the chart indicates higher minimums and higher maximums with an 8.
Is this because, it says one thing on paper, but in reality it comes out to another? IE: Cecille would have strength 144-242, but she's probably going to be close to 220 without a lot of softresetting. While Yuber could go as high as 255, but will more likely be around 190 without soft resetting? Or Leo with a strength of 7 would most likely be around 170?
In other words 8 is the best growth rate if you are willing to sit there and soft reset every level to make sure you get 5, 3, and 1 stat increase depending on your level, to make sure you end up with 255?
But if you don't want to spend the rest of your life soft resetting then 10 is the best because you are more likely to come out closer to your 242 max?

Re: Stat growth chart
I could be wrong but perhaps the growth 6,7,8,9,10 weren't rated base on ending stats but more like the criterion was growth rate at early stage.
Look at 6,7,8,9,10 at early level:
*06:
level 03-21
3-4 lower amount 75%
*07:
03-21
3-4 higher 60%
...
*10:
03-16
6-7 higher 75%
I'm doing a chars ranking so i'm in process to calculate chars average strength growth, not even half way but i can confirm that after math, representative growth rate of 10 Cecile is not getting higher strength than Hallec at the ending (without our manual intervention). If you're interested in math, i will write it down next time when i get back home.

By that logic, then 7 is also better than 9&10?MegafaunaB.krieg wrote:I am not very mathy, so forgive me if I am just not seeing something obvious but...it seems like an 8 for growth is better than a 9 or 10?

I thought of it the sameMegafaunaB.krieg wrote:In other words 8 is the best growth rate if you are willing to sit there and soft reset every level to make sure you get 5, 3, and 1 stat increase depending on your level, to make sure you end up with 255?

Re: Stat growth chart
oh damn, i made a mistake with my stat calculations because the 09 and 10 growth have different levels in which the stat growth slows down....... so Thomas, Juan, Piccolo, and Cecile should really have lower stats than what i had been thinking. also our statgrowth template for each character makes the same assumption i did, so it only provided ranges for 01-02, 03-21, etc... the 09 and 10 need 03-16 ranges.

Re: Stat growth chart
no, i used that info to estimate stats at level 61... but yeah the guide would need some work to get it corrected.

Re: Stat growth chart
Here's the average stats for those groups i calculated from that guide and checked in game:
At level 67:
<01>:52
<02>:90
<03>:110*
<04>:130
<05>:150*
<06>:170*
<07>:190*
<08>:210*
<09>:136
<10>:175*
Note:
-Group 03 data from the guide is wrong, if i calculate according to it group 03 should just have 100 stats at lv67 while check in game every chars from this group got their stats vary around 110, not 100.
-Group 05 base on calculation reach 140 in average but in game everyone past to 150
-Group 06 base on calculation reach 160 in average but in game everyone past to 170
-Group 07 base on calculation reach 170 in average but in game everyone past to 180
-Group 10 base on calculation also just has 160 but in game chars from this group often reach 175
-To get average stats at lv61, just take the corresponding number and minus 3
exemple: a character from group 04 at level 61 : 130-3= 127
-To get average stats at lv99, take the corresponding number and plus 16
exemple: a character from group 08 at level 99 : 210+16=226
-LOL at group 09, by the way i haven't checked in game for 00, 01 and 09
At level 67:
<01>:52
<02>:90
<03>:110*
<04>:130
<05>:150*
<06>:170*
<07>:190*
<08>:210*
<09>:136
<10>:175*

Re: Stat growth chart
So 8 is the best average growth AND maximum growth AND minimum growth? So 8 is the best all around? Isn't this a fan-made chart? Could just change the values for 8 to say 10, and 10 to say 8, and clear up all the problems!
