Equip/Strats for tough fights

I've encountered my first tough fight: the two wolves on snowpeak - summit.

Does anybody remember what levels/equipment they had when they beat that fight, or strategies in-battle?

So far, in my losses, my armor and weapon levels were all around 5-8. I'm trying to upgrade those as much as I can. Any strategies? I haven't found a great way to block or evade when they attack twice at a time. So far my strategy is just to try to bring a couple buffs and enough potions, try to get some link combos in and outlast them. Obviously it hasn't worked but so far I don't have any ideas except for raising attack and defense power.

Two Wolves:

The key was getting everybody's armor and weapon to level 12, the max at this point. I also did the defense buff bath. No special strategy, just tried to pull off some link attacks. The wolves disrupted a lot of them but with the upgraded weapons and armor and a couple of potions I was able to outlast them.
