[FAQ] Controls (Stylus/touchscreen required?)

Post by JanusThePaladin »

Just wondering about the basic controls and whether or not it is dependent on the stylus and touch screen. I for one will not buy this game if i HAVE to use the stylus (I bought dragonball origins and was disgusted)

You can fully complete the game without ever touching the screen unlike, say, The World Ends With You.

Continuing the trend in Suikoden spin-off titles, this one has no mini-game. Duels and war battles are simulated using the standard encounter battle systems, too.

Shows the laziness of the developers.

Or, their over attention at staying true to the spin-off nature of Tierkreis.

We don't see the three battle modes appearing in Card Stories, Suikogaiden or Rhapsodia, do we?

But everyone keeps saying this is a "true" Suikoden game, so it should be there, shouldn't it?

Really? WHO? Everyone I know pretty much agreed the second we saw runes and 6-member-party went poof: It's no Suikoden, but it'll probably be a good/decent game, regardless.

Is there a button you can hold down to run faster, or do you have the same speed throughout the game? (figured this applied to FAQ about Controls)

The run speed stays the same, though there's an item that increases your run speed while equipped.
