That was an old idea that they scrapped.

Too bad, it would have been far more useful to have some of the 108 you never intend on putting back in your party come back as uber equipment instead.

Oh, ok. . I see.

It just confused me a little. . .a lot.

It wasn't the weapons bit that confused me, but the monster. I wonder how they would have carried that out.

Don't even remember any part of the game that specifically mentioned that they were "reviving" the 104 characters.

a lot of articles said you would be reviving the 104 SOD that died, but i am pretty sure a later article said that idea was changed.

You're kidding? That was the one thing that set this apart from the other games. If it doesn't involve too many spoilers, does this game start out with the 108 stars losing as had been previously said, you just don't resurrect them (but replace them I gather)?

You could just ask that question in a forum that allows spoilers.

That's not really possible to answer as this is spoiler free, not some spoilers allowed.

The intro is the same as already shown though.

That's enough info anyway. Strange how they changed so very much even about the plot. You'd think that'd be written way ahead of time and they'd just work gameplay around it.

which is why I was so confused after reading this forum.

Still, as far as spin-off titles go, it's definitely far better than Suikoden Tactics' minimalist HQ setup.

The cook-off was only in 1 game to begin with. I wouldn't blame Tierkreis for not having it, considering the more recent 3 main installments didn't have it either. Neither did the first game.
