Lazlo - his rest of life time after war.

Post by cyril0412 »

Does anyone have any idea how Lazlo will live after the rune cannon war in Kooluk?
And Snowe is Lazlo's best friend, but he is a normal human, will get older and die in future.
Do you think Lazlo will go to find Kyril and stay or travel to somewhere else with him? At least two immortal boys will not be alone.
It would be a good ending of this lifetime, doesn't it?

I would imagine Lazlo would live in isolation. Pretty easy to do in a place with a bunch of tiny islands. It's just conjecture, but I would think taht he would want to spare anyone else the burden of the Rune of Punishment. Even though it's in the Atonement phase, who knows if it will revert back to its original self on a new host? My speculation is that he would stay away from people all his life so that if and when he died, the Rune would be sealed away from people.

We also don't know if the Rune of Punishment grants agelessness. None of it's previous bearers (that we know of) lived long enough to test it. If the man in the Obel Ruins "breathed his last," it looks like it doesn't. Unless he killed himself somehow. Being in the position we find him in (completely underground with only his arm sticking out), it's hard to tell how he actually died.

Nobody really figures out that Kyril is immortal until many years after the events of Rhapsodia. Andarc, Seneca, and Corselia would probably be the only ones to realize he hasn't aged after spending several years with him and want to keep it a secret. Lazlo pretty much just lives on the island by himself and it's hard to see a different path for him because he knows that if he is killed, the rune will end up causing another mess.

Perhaps Lazlo spent some time as a sword instructor to the Island Nations Federation army so he could hand down his fighting skills to protect the future of the islands, hence Yahr's dual sword technique in S5.
