Hey Guild, I'm in the process of asking some anime/manga companies to license the shinso's for North American release (such as ADV, TokyoPOP, or Viz), and I was wondering if you'd like to help me (since you have a mainstay Suikoden website and I don't...yet).

I'm also going to ask them to bring over Xenogears' Perfect Works and Xenosaga's Design Materials.

I honestly don't think there's much of a chance with that. Shinsyos aren't quite in the niche that manga companies are looking for. Art books are another thing entirely.

ideas

I agree, it'd be hard to get a compnay to translate and try to sell each shinsyo. now maybe if they put em all(to date) into a compendium and sold it as a sort of artbook/strategy guide, that idea might be more palateable to them.

Each Shinso? I was thinking they could just put them all in one anthology. :D

That would make the book be more than 1 foot wide. X_X

So yeah, that's not going to work.

Even if they were to make something with bits and pieces from each volume, I don't see anyone wanting to publish it realistically speaking.

I'd think publishing such thick book is not practical. ;___;

That said, I hope the new encyclopaedia include information from Genso Suikoden IV as well. It'd be more complete that way and would take longer before another revision would take place (assuming there are more games to come, of course).

i've found em on ebay for about $10ea + shipping, buy m ore of at once to save on it, but they send em from Japan, so it's a bit costly to have em shipped.

You can buy all volumes from amazon.co.jp and have them do international shipping.

Use the ISBN number; amazon will search by those, in any language, and give the results you require.
