One of the youngest of the Blades of Night’s Veil, Roberto serves under Chrodechild, and isn’t impressed with the Hero at all. Viewing him as a rival, Roberto often gets snappy and impertinent around him, refusing his offers of aid.

When Astrasia fell, Roberto was merely a vassal to another knight, and could not fight to save his kingdom. He trained diligently with the sword, and became the youngest person alongside Chrodechild to be a Blade of Night’s Veil.

When Danash praises the actions of the Company for helping the Mage Forces escape, and criticizes the Blades for not doing so, Roberto is angry with the Hero, but both the Hero and Chrodechild recognize that Danash is pitting the Blades and the Company against each other, so that they are focused on fighting each other rather then banding together to potentially overthrow the Mage Lord. Roberto is criticized for falling into such a trap.

When Roberto first meets Cougar, he thinks that Cougar is a monster, and it causes him to hesitate in helping him, when the Hero only took notice of Cougar’s injured shoulder. This causes Roberto a great deal of shame, as Chrodechild would have acted like the Hero would have.

Roberto joins with Chrodechild when the Blades leave the Magedom to join the Company. When the 9th fusion occurs and Roberto hears that the Furious Roar have returned, Roberto offers to travel with the Hero, as he never apologized to Cougar for thinking him a monster. When the two meet King Diulf, who claims not to remember anyone named Cougar, Roberto cautions the Hero against pressing the issue.

Roberto joins Chrodechild to attack Astrasia, only to be repelled by Fredegund wielding Divine Edge. Their second attack goes well, and Roberto thanks the Hero for saving his Kingdom and for making Chrodechild the happiest he’s ever seen her.

Roberto becomes a very inspired speaker after Pharamond is liberated, helping to encourage other soldiers, like Amaralicht, Quillard, and Nimni, to become braver. But Roberto seems to talk more about the Hero then about anything else.

Roberto becomes a Royal Knight of Astrasia after the One King’s fall, but stays on loan at the Hero’s Castle. - Matt620
