ruruoni genshu
is genshu cool or what?!
i dont care about his stats and that rune slot of his.
no matter what, genshu is cool. (maybe cooler than the ninja in suikoden 2 whose real identity is the prince from suikoden 5)..
i wonder what genshu's past is all about..
i wish the next suikoden we'll see more of this silent samurai and learn about that (sometimes) instant kill rune of his.
dont you agree guys?

Re: ruruoni genshu
Genshu has been an assassin and he was very emotionless and cruel, afaik. Then, one day, he had to kill his brother, unknowing that it was his brother. After that, he left on a journey of swordmanship and I dunno what.
His Rune is the same as Richard's and Kyril's, not much to say about it(it's like the Falcon Rune)... I don't think he's to interesting, but still cool. But there's no need to see him again, but I want to see his Homecountry, Katana.

What? I hope that's a lie, or everything i've ever believed has just been turned upside down...no matter what, genshu is cool. (maybe cooler than the ninja in suikoden 2 whose real identity is the prince from suikoden 5)..

There's no foundation for it. Ignore the statement.Redheim wrote:What? I hope that's a lie, or everything i've ever believed has just been turned upside down...no matter what, genshu is cool. (maybe cooler than the ninja in suikoden 2 whose real identity is the prince from suikoden 5)..

It's not sure wether it's a village or a country... in fact, Katana isn't this location's real name, but people call it like that because they make the best swords in the Suikoden world. Hazuki and Genshu come from there...ralphyu wrote:Wait?is their a village named Katana in Suikoden?never hear it

Re: ruruoni genshu
I doubt Genshu is influenced by Rurouni Kenshin. The "silent ex-assassin ronin" cliche has existed in Japan for decades. The same cliche simply isn't known very much outside Japan.

Re: ruruoni genshu
this seems like a duplicate topic.
anyway, Genshu has some backstory in the official publications. dragonmasterx posted a translation here: http://www.suikosource.com/phpBB3/viewt ... =44&t=8094
