who attacked the clan of the gate?

I keep thinking who attacked the clan of the gate and why but I keep coming up blank for some reason I want to say Harmonia over collecting all the true runes but I'm not sure can anyone clear this up. and where is the clan of the gate and the village of the hidden rune.
A rpg-suikoden site that lets you choose your character and basically play suikoden on your computer as if it was on your ps console

Hm I'm sure it's Harmonia who attacked the Clan of the Gate rune... I know it's around on the history section of this site, I was reading through it last night...
