The five elemental runes, viper, ootaka(bow), ikkaku(spear), tonbi(throwing items), falcon rune(Kika, it's not the pretty multi-stab animation anymore), shrike rune(Mizuki)

Only Andarc out of the first nine characters can equip the basic magic runes. The rest can equip the sword type elemental runes. I'm not sure how they differ, since the first spell seems to be the same for both types. It alters the ground(cross area of effect) to the corresponding element.

About the Falcon Rune, the level 2 move is the multi stab one.

Does this mean that all runes have four levels now?

Also, could you describe the level 1 Falcon Rune attack?
I hope everything is going delicious.

The list confirms that each weapon/attack rune has at least 2 moves.

The Falcon Rune's first move is an upward slash dealing 1.2 damage.

They brought back a couple of weapon-specific runes from II/III (like Kite and Great Hawk), and completed the entire elemental sword magic runes. Sword of Flowing, Sword of Mother Earth, etc.

While the command runes now have more than a single attack, they require MP to use. So, no more unlimited Falcon/Shrike runes.

Considering that MP, along with HP, is recovered at level up and that characters can be switched in and out, MP is really a minor issue.

Guess so. Nothing beats the original unlimited command runes though. It's not like leveling up on the battlefield happens every other turn.

I've been meaning to ask this for some time now, but is it said why only certain characters can equip attack magic runes?
I hope everything is going delicious.

There's more variety in runes now, so it's ok.

Elemental Sword Runes -
Spell 1 - +radius alter ground
Spell 2 - bigger radius alter ground
Spell 3 - extra(minor) elemental damage and leave behind a trail of the element where ever the unit moves to.
Spell 4 - don't know yet.

Also, each weapon(one for each weapon type) specific rune seems to have 4 spells. There also runes for units mounted on kangaroos and owls.

And there's the other miscellaneous stuff like luck rune, critical rune, raise speed rune, raise evade rune, sunbeam rune...

All attack runes and "Sword of magic" runes only have up to three levels.
The runes related to tsunouma and iwadori only have two levels.

Actually, I wasn't answering your question, but was just clarifying dragonmasterx's post. I can't help you with the translation.
