Of the 27 True Runes, we know of 18:
Soul Eater - representing life & death
Rune of Beginning - representing chaos (of creation)
True Elemental Runes (5) - representing...the elements
Rune of Punishment - representing atonement and forgiveness
Sun Rune - representing the powers of the Sun and light
Gate Rune - it connects worlds, so one could say it represents connection
Sovereign Rune - representing complete rule
Beast Rune - representing rage and passion
Moon Rune - representing compassion and destruction
Dragon Rune - it just allows dragons to exist, kinda odd for a "god" of the Suikoden world
Night Rune - representing the absence of light
Eightfold Rune - possibly to do with summoning monsters/ teleportation, although the gate rune also does that
Circle Rune - representing order and stagnation
Rune of Change - representing the constant cycle of change
What do you think is the basis for these being "True" Runes, and what would that suggest the other 9 True Runes might be?

We'd learn, if the Suikoden franchise wasn't officially over.

Re: The other 9 True Runes
A true rune that control the flow of time and space is the most probable. We have one and only character that can jump through time. And we have many characters that use teleportation. That must be a true rune that control that two things (because that how magic works in Suikoverse). And usually time and space are connected to each other. So, I dare to say that there is an Chrono Runes.
