Minecraft Suikoden
I know I saw that someone on this forum was already giving it a shot, but I have the Xbox version, and anyway the point is I've started my own. Today I finished the Mercenary Fort. I will be starting on Ryube next week probably. Anyone interested in helping?

Re: Minecraft Suikoden
I started working on North Window Castle about two-three months ago, and I've got it almost finished.
The scale is horrible. I've had to remove certain unnecessary rooms and add others just to make this fit. Stairs also didn't line up (some go up instead of down, barracks stairs are tiered above each other, etc).
You can view the project Here
EDIT: Oh yea, I do have a full map available for the castle (at max with all characters).

I visited and I have to say you did a beautiful job... I recommend playing this song, whilst exploring the Castle in order to complete the experience. Oh yeah, another cool idea I thought of is using the Book and Quill to recreate the old book sets verbatim.
Here is all the text you would need.

And if I"m around I'd be more than happy to help you in anyway I could.
On another note, anyone know where I can find a good Georg Prime Minecraft skin? Thanks.

Muse is built. Still need to do a bit more decorating, but the buildings are up and most of the internal parts are finished

You would be right. I have no XBox 360. This particular town was also done fully creative, so it didn't take half as long.
Ok, here's greenhill:

Again, if you have a MC account, you can view this and all my works. 199.30.49.7 and use /warp northwindow, /warp greenhill, or /warp muse. Feel free to drop me suggestions for the next city I build, because I'm looking at Kyaro next, though there's a ton of areas I can't reach with just the normal game.

I don't have MC, but this does look pretty impressive. I do think that the palette of MC doesn't really do it justice though.

Re: Minecraft Suikoden
I wish I had a decent texture pack to match, but it's not one of my strengths. Each town has their own too, so I'd need 3 just to make it work.Piisuke wrote:I don't have MC, but this does look pretty impressive. I do think that the palette of MC doesn't really do it justice though.
South Window is next. I've decided it will be a lot easier than kyaro.

Well, irrespective of the textures, it's pretty impressive. I might just get MC some day and check it out. I'd love to walk around in those places in 3D.

Re: Minecraft Suikoden
So you might have wondered what the hell happened to me in this thread. I started working. I finished Ryube village. I came here and saw those amazing pictures above and politely excused myself.
