Now EU PSN as well! Then I'm happy.
But actually, I am a bit frustrated because these are without Pyriels bug fixes which makes Suikoden II a LOT better.

Welp. Europe is getting I and II in January. Classics not the PSP bundle.

Now if this does well maybe we can get Suikoden III next.

I'm not familiar with the PSN, but after hearing they are going to release Suikoden 2 for it, I was thinking of purchasing a portable system. Would it work on PSP or only the Vita?

On both, at least the German press announcement says so (Konami UK only says Vita and PS3 on their blog).
This is beyond awesome. Now all the PS2 games. Raww, now is the time to propose them to use your translation of the Gaidens

Re: Time to beg Konami to bring Suikoden 2 to PSN
Is the PSP still PSN-compatible? I remember hearing something like Sony shutting down the PSP bit a while back or was that to happen later? Though you could still get it on a PSP via a PS3 but I'd probably go for the Vita option if I had to buy a new system, if it wasn't for the outrageous memory card prices.
Anti: I think these would have to sell an ungodly amount for them to even think of going through the hassle of certifying PS1-era Visual Novels even if the translation didn't cost them anything. I mean, consider how long this took?

I know, I know. Would still be a nice surprise
Don't know about the PSP, though (don't own one anymore), but when I look into the PSN online store, it still says PSP, so...

Yeah, but the Vita plays (some) PSP games so they would still sell them. I don't know, I don't have a PSP to try with either.

It was shut down in Europe, or so I hear. PSPs still have access to it in the US and Japan, as far as I know. I can't go online with mine.

Alright, I will scheme to get myself a PS vita if I can. I hope the more people who buy the games, the more inclined to re-release others in the series they will be. Maybe.

Well, now that Square-Enix has opened the door to releasing PS1 games as PS4 games (seriously, WTF?) with Final Fantasy VII, maybe if this does well Konami could do the same for Suikoden and thus be free to actually fix the translations and bugs plus trophies if they're so inclined.

Re: Time to beg Konami to bring Suikoden 2 to PSN
Dear Konami,
I would pay good money for a Suikoden I Redux, a Suikoden II, and Suikoden III package for any European console. Like, really good money.
I would also pay really good money for a few jazz records but I don't think you can provide - although I begin to wonder what would be the easiest for you, difficult as it seems to provide us with good Suikoden stuff.
I think I'm not alone in this, so with all this very good money you may even be able to hire Murayama. Or Keith Jarrett.
Regards,
Bruce
