Looks like it's the end of an era. You might remember Tokyopop as the group who translated the Suikoden III manga for English release.

The only concern some people have is with them retaining rights to the Manga they've published, which obviously would be a bad thing for anyone looking to buy copies of any series they own in the near future.

That's too bad. I don't really read manga anymore, but Tokyopop always seemed to come out with the best stuff.

I still have some of their DVDs, I was actually watching Vampire Princess Miyu today and saw the Tokyo Pop logo.
