Hello everyone!

I have problems winning the second difficulty level of the dragonhorse race. Say, is there sum kinda trick how to win it? This might be try no 20 and still... third place or second place were the best positions I could attain. But... when I have Nick riding Ax and Roog riding Lance.... I'm totally over ^^ Please, help me. What can I do?

All you can do is practice. Make sure to always stay on the inside track. The last thing, make sure that Nick, Roog, or Rahal are not in the race. Roog and Rahal cannot be beaten although Nick can be beaten with some luck.

could the toy dragon horse be a prize in the races????

there's probably only 2 people alive who have beaten the Hard Mode O_o

The hard mode gave me the creeps... and when you have to compete against Roog or Rahal.... nah man! 4get it! You'll never be able to win because thiose 2 are simply too good. I gave up after the 100th try there.

ive never found out were these races take places
who do you have to talk to to trigger them???

for a "completionist" i really doubt your dedication to explore.. talk to your Dragon Horse buddies and people hanging out around their area after they are recruited.

its inly my second game at suiko 5.
i never bother to have 100% at my first try.
but i did talk to them but didnt triger the scene mayube it eas the wrong one though i just wanted to see the ending as soon as possible.
but now im taking my time and completing everything.
thats why i keep asking questions like that

Just pace yourself and conserve all your energy for the last lap... it works for me...



nope, no toy dragon as far as I know...

Beginner (Oval Course)
3rd place - medicine
2nd place - mega medicine
1st place - dragon horse armor

Intermediate (Figure-Eight Course)
3rd place - escape scroll
2nd place - boost piece
1st place - guardian chain

Advanced (Complex Course)
3rd place - mega medicine
2nd place - boundary piece
1st place - pale moon leather

Its really hard to beat lance and flail, if not almost impossible... you have to have a time of at least 3:03 or less, which means there's no room for error: the pacing of when you press x along with the turns you make... if you hit a wall for example, that's it... it's over... i guess its better to just keep quiting the match and returning until you get ax... with ax, all you need is a time of 3:07 or less...

Are there any rewards for Haleth's betting other than potch? I've tried it a whole bunch of times and I've never even been able to win. I'm wondering if i'm missing something good or unique.

I've never really tried the Dragon Horse races before...but if Roog and Rahal are indeed near impossible to beat, that reminds me of a certain racer from a certain RPG. >.<

Toy Dragon Horse? O.o I'd have to check my Storage...not sure if I've acquired it or not...if not, then I can get it by hook or by crook.

the technique of this games is just to stay behind the leader then use your turbos near the finish line thats how things are done in the race though i have to admit, it took me alot of practice before id defeated roog and rahal.

This is an underrated mini-game in suikoden that i happen to love so much.

i am pretty sure Toy Dragon Horse is not available in the game through normal means. you'll have to use codebreaker or other means to hack it in.

just keep practicing because this minigame is tough
