In the Rurouni Kenshin anime, a lot of people that the protagonist was a female at first, who also sounded like a grown woman. Even a native Japanese friend of mine mistaked Kenshin's sex for female. It turned out be a male.

The voice actress for the strategist is Yuko Minaguchi, who has never done any male roles in her extensive career which includes famous characters like Yawara from "Yawara!" and Sailor Saturn. Her voice is very feminine as well, I'd be very surprised if that character is male. Not only that, but the way she wears her robe is how females wear it in both Japanese and Chinese cultures.

The voice actress for Kenshi, Mayo Suzukaze, is a well known actress who did male roles in the Takarazuka women's theater. Thus, her voice is lower and has been used for a number of male voice roles, although she does far more TV movie acting these days (with female roles).

So unless otherwise stated officially, evidence points me towards the strategist being female.

Addendeum:

The Strategist's name has been released in a reent V Jump. It's "Lucretia."

Apparently she halped Felid in the past to save Falena from some sort of threat.

Nope, and she probably isn't a Silverberg.

The strategist's name is Lucretia, if anyone is interested. I have to admit, I quite like the name.

that may not be possible ... since Silverberg always take Tenki star first and if there is another Silverberg, he/she will take Chikai star. i don't think the Chikai will be Silverberg if the Tenki is not one.

If there are no Silverburgs, then Silverburg disciples like Shu would also be sufficient.

Not necessarily. The Tenki seat is reserved for the main strategist of the army, regardless of their family background. In fact, most stars are defined by their role in the army.

No Silverberg

Post by Viktor_33815 »

No silverberg

I don't think I would want to live in a world where a suikoden game doesn't have a Silverberg or a Silverberg related strategist.

Or play the game for that matter I think I will wait until I have more information onto weather or not there will be a Silverberg in this game weather or not i buy this game.

if it doesn't have a Silverberg or at least a cameo for it i may or may not but it if i do (and probably will cause i have all the ones the were released here in the states up till suikoden tactics at least that's what's it is being called here in the states )

So i Prolly will but it

One character's surname is going to influence your decision? I'm sorry but that's the most stupid excuse for not buying a game I've ever heard.

Funny that there were two Silverbergs in that game.
I hope everything is going delicious.

yes but at the time i did not even know that Apple was in the game let alone Ceaser and Albert. I Did not really like three but i still have it
I know it's a little pathetic.

My personal favorite was Suikoden II
