as u may have guessed, i'm trying to do that "get a free rune" thing at the beginning of the game...with the prosperity and fortune rune...

From gregminster, go the left, passing through the bridge and enter Mt. Tigerwolf. Walk all the way to the other end of mountain. After you go out of the mountain, just walk north (you can't miss it).
