But of course they do. Why would there be an item that doesn't do anything? (I think the def is approx. +6 per piece, so the defense should add. But I don't know whether the more fire emblems equipped, the higher the fire resistance, seeing that there is no anti-fire stats like that in FF8. I'd suggest you equip the guard ring instead, or train more.) Btw, don't produce double threads. It's really irritating.

Yeah, they do reduce fire attack damage.
But better way is Fire Sealing rune. Try it. You can get it from Sindar Ruins.

Frie sealing runes! They cud also be dropped by Unicombies in Tinto mines.. I had 5 of them now.. Try it using a hunter Rune!
