What do Ocean Rune Pieces do ? if they are worthwhile where can I find more?

talk to Tov...i believe hes on the 4th or 5th floor...in the Shipwright's room...you can upgrade the ships using them...like like Skill points for the ship...

when you have Ocean Rune Pieces in your inventory, you have to permanently distribute them to a ship--you can't remove them from a ship once you've given a piece to it, but within the ship's own pool of points itself, you can change stats. it takes 5 points to increase shooting range by 1 block, and you can adjust MOV and DEF stats (which take 1 point to increase the stat by 1)

Last night I found about five of them near the Mountain Island area and some Water Rune Pieces
