Truth be told, it should. I mean Suikoden 1? If it was going up against Final Fantasy 1, sure. Suikoden 1 is a good game, but the best part of it is that it spawned the rest of the Suikodens.

Ya, Suikoden 2 is superior to it in almost every single way(unless you like the story more in 1), I can totally see how Suikoden 1 would lose.

Although we didn't win...i have to say Suikoden is one of the best, but underrated RPGs out there...Suikoden definitely needs more recognition, but the fact is our fanbase is pretty hardcore and awesome! Do you see a lot of games have THIS much speculation on characters, plotline, geography, etc.? Also, Suikoden isn't made in chronological order, but the awesome part is that there is going to be more storyline and you can follow it...I never seen another RPG out there like this and trust me, i've played a lot lol
