[FAQ] How many endings are there?
Sorry, I didn't know where to put it (and I'm quite sure this question has been answered, but I can't find the topic...)
I know of 3:
- Not all 108 SoD
- All 108 SoD
- You make a wrong choice at your HQ before attacking the OK.
I'd like to know what the difference is between these 3 (I only got the "All 108-Stars" ending and don't want to replay that game now^^) and if there are more?

The one without 108 SoD is the same as the one with, you just don't get the Atrie scene at the end.
The "bad" ending is just an in-game scene where they jump to after the hero destroys the One King and afterwards becomes the One King and starts saying "One world... one future." Yes, it's that stupid.

That's nonsensical. Why would he even consider that as an option?Raww Le Klueze wrote:The "bad" ending is just an in-game scene where they jump to after the hero destroys the One King and afterwards becomes the One King and starts saying "One world... one future." Yes, it's that stupid.

Is the Atrie scene worthy of getting the 108 SoD?Raww Le Klueze wrote:The one without 108 SoD is the same as the one with, you just don't get the Atrie scene at the end.

Mh, well, not really, as it doesn't answer anything. It's just pleasant to watch another cut-scene.suikodian wrote:Is the Atrie scene worthy of getting the 108 SoD?Raww Le Klueze wrote:The one without 108 SoD is the same as the one with, you just don't get the Atrie scene at the end.

Re: [FAQ] How many endings are there?
That's strange, since the Guide listed a few different anime movies for the normal ending, which are listed using entirely different names from the ones in the best ending?

Re: [FAQ] How many endings are there?
I kinda wish there was a New game + I've only heard of the 3 endings mentioned above
"Even the dead reveal their secrets to me." Yuber
"I have not lived long enough to become a myth." Chris Lightfellow
"They betrayed us and fled. Cowards." Zegai

Because it's a major plot point leading up to that fight.patapi wrote:That's nonsensical. Him turning into the One King was basically their way of tying the lack of Stars of Destiny in the world with what Zenoa says about them if you DO choose to attack (after the Moonlit Night scene).

The personality override is still non-sense, even with that vague conceptual explanation from her.

Re: [FAQ] How many endings are there?
I guess The One King's existence is pretty much impossible to get rid of if there are no more Stars of Destiny in a world. At that point, the closest person to him when he dies is instantly transformed into him (much like how some True Runes jump to the nearest person upon the death of their bearer).

Re: [FAQ] How many endings are there?
wait .... so the One King is not a person but ... a name ?
as in if a One King dies, the next Tenkai will turn into One King ?
><"
is it the same cycle as Sin from FFX then ?
this game is very confusing seriously ....

Re: [FAQ] How many endings are there?
Apparently, the "will" of the One King would only be passed on if the Tenkai decided to sacrifice the other 107 Stars to defeat the preceding One King that came to bring upon absolute destruction on their world.
By reducing the surviving stars to one person, the Tenkai is effectively reducing the many paths represented by the stars into one single, predetermined path: One True Way.
