Any Tir ratings? If someone can post the max stat comparisons of Tir, Riou and Jowy, along with exclusive attributes, flexibility,etc., it would be great.

All I remember about Tir's Level 99 stats is that his MAG and TEC are at around 210~230, which is about the same as Jowy's MAG and TEC, and Riou's TEC and LUC.

on tir- he's basically the same as Riou, only with less speed and more magic/def/mdef

my guess is this is what his stat range at L99 will look like:

remember this is ONLY AN ESTIMATE. this is simply based off his stats in one of my games so don't blame me if one or two of them are off the mark!

i'd definitely rate Tir higher than Riou, considering the Soul Eater is arguably the best rune in the game, and his stats are on par or better. i'd say somewhere in the upper 9s

Tir is definitly high tier, the only problem I have with him is having to go all the way to Toran every time I want him in my party.

That's why I never put him in my party.... He's just annoying, doesn't say anything. When I want Tir, I play Suikoden I.

Luc should have an S rank in MAG (same as Clive/Shilo's TEC, Pes/Georg's STR, Viki's LUC, Mazus' MDEF, Humphrey's DEF, Kasumi/Stallion's SPD).

I'm boosting my characters to Level 99 right now. I'll record their stats and compare it with the table.

I don't have the numbers for Genshu Valeria, Abizboah, Rulodia, and Chuchara yet. I think Abizboah the second character who can't be boosted to Level 99 since he joins at Level 46. D=

Also, my Riou has a little too much SPD (197) because I forced that stat to increase by the upper limit during level ups at the early stages of the game.

About McDohl: yeah he's definitely top tier (broken stats), above Riou. I wasn't listing him because i wasn't sure how much his stats from the loaded save file of Suikoden 1 influence his stats in Suikoden 2 (never read anything concrete about it, just assumptions). And if you ask me, it's way too much of a hassle to walk all the way (over and over again) just to recruit him. But yeah, he's beasting, use him if you like :>

MAG - 07 (same as Jowy's)
SPD - 04 (same as Riou's PDF)

I haven't posted here in a very long time, but I recently fired up this game for fun. It's still one of my favorite games, so I just want to say thank you to the creator of this list. It's just incredible and will continue to fuel discussion for ages.
