This is just general experience abuse; I don't see any reason why it should be called a "level 99" trick or "gain 60" or anything else. You can use this throughout the whole game, regardless of your end level. The focus from most people seems to be only on paths to hit level 99, but there's no reason it should be specifically tailored for that over anything else. If you want to give it a name, just call it power leveling or super leveling or something along those lines.

You’re right in that it’s simply abusing the regular experience mechanics, and these mechanics don’t change throughout the game. You can call it “trick” because you need to find out how these mechanics work to abuse them (S2 is a little different from S1). So whenever this trick shoots you to Lv99 (the max level of the game) it’s basically a Lv99 trick, and as you said, people are focused on max levels. I don’t see why it shouldn’t be called as such.

Lv99 trick = power leveling, but power leveling doesn’t mean you end up at Lv99. Lv99 trick has been established as a term for power leveling to Lv99. You can power level “throughout the whole game”, but if you want to reach Lv99 you need to wait until you recruit Jude and get the Fortune Rune, or until you reach Rakutei Mountain#2. And you need to know at which levels your character must be and which enemy formation to fight. That’s what this thread is about.
