How to dance with karen?

Even if I press all the correct buttons, she said the rythm was a little bit off. Anyone knows why?

RonnieBell here at suikosource figured it out but i still don't get it myself, i can't get past the first 2 or so challenges.

But Can You Dance.. with Karen?
Pressing the select button brings up a picture of the controller that indicates the next button(s) to press.
Press the button immediately after Karen claps.
Start the button sequence after HeroII bounces 3-4 times.

I got past the third one on 150 fps. I start pressing the button ASAP, works for me

But the harder difficulties won't let me coz it involves L1 and R1 also. Sad

Well...here we are...i've got a hard time to collect her antiques. I've got stuck at the 3rd level.


That's totally ridiculous,the game is almost impossible to beat. I'm pretty sure that i press the buttons in-sync (exactly at the time when she claps her hands) ,but still she'll tell me that i failed. I remember the buttons in the exact sequence,but still i don't know why i cannot win

I said everything I know here... Basically somehow Karen wants you to dance along with her claps... Just don't expect you can do 5 tries or below. Even I can do this after 15th tries or around on lv 4 and 5...

I noticed that you hit the buttons AFTER Karen's clap

I don't know which way is right,i'm a little confused...

Well i managed to do it. It's not that hard at all,really. If you have noticed when Karen's dancing it goes with the drum beat.The first button goes when the first drum kicks,and this happens in every 2 buttons,which perfectly matches with Karen's claping. Just don't mess things up with the first button.

Try loosening your hips more. And put your shoulders into it when you lift her, she likes that.

You can also try to rename Riou "Usher", it helps

I don't remember any real problems with the dance game either. I takes some tries though.

I remember the dance game as being fairly simple as well. I've never had any problems with it, but I KNOW there is a difference in the timings depending on whether you're playing on a PS2 or an Emulator. the game is in sync but the emulator is not.
