Top 6 Chars (including Hero) for the final battles!

Hey all, I'm trying to build a team up for the end game. So far, you of course need Hero but I was also planning on Luc and Mazus. Who should be the other 3 fighters? I was thinking Killey, Sheena and Hai Yo. Based on the ranking post (http://www.suikosource.com/phpBB3/viewt ... f=9&t=4761) and the guide on the main site, I think that set up would be best! What do you guys think?

Hai Yo is weak, replace him with Viktor/Flik

Lvl 99 Georg, Riou, Sheena
Killey, Sid, Chaco

Sid and Chaco are the most useful during random battles since they attack so many times. They are useless during boss battles

Make sure you have the correct rune setup otherwise your team really sucks lol

Hai Yo is stronger than Georg isn't he? With open runes and gear, he can out DPS Georg.

Who do you suggest I replace and with who?
I do agree that the wingers are good with random battles. Multi hits are nice but I'm talking about who can down final battles (bosses or randoms) the fastest.

Hai Yo is only strong at level 65 and higher, I think

Well, I'm going to get my characters (most of them) to level 99 if I can.

I dunno why but Killey is not exactly a powerhouse to me even after I customized him to the max. maybe the ranking lies

maybe your Killey ended up with a poor Skill stat? try giving him a Thunder Amulet to boost accuracy.

He's right. You might want to consider this equipment setup for Killey:

Wind Hat
Master Garb
Fire Emblem
Thunder Amulet
Power Gloves OR Skill Ring

Master Garb gives a TECH bonus, VERY important if you want accuracy. Thunder Amulet gives a hit rate bonus asides from the ones you get from TECH bonuses. If you feel Killey is hitting good enough, you can go for Power Gloves. If not, go for a Skill Ring for additional TECH and hit rate.

You might want to replace Fury with either Killer (for more crits) or Gale (for more SPD and multi-hits) since you only need to be berserk against bosses, and Battle Oath can take care of that for you. You don't even have to equip Fury runes along the way because the mobs in the final dungeon are just way too easy.

so he's not as good as Sheena? Sheena deals 500 damage/hit
just another person with 3 rune slots like Rina who can only deal 300 damage/hit

Georg with Fury Rune deals 600+ damage/hit

Btw, why didn't you try using violence rune? Seems like a really powerful rune. Stacks with Fury in its description

Killey raw stats in one playthrough (no equipments and runes):



X-HIT means chance to multi-hit on 0 SPD enemies = SPD / 32

Violence doesn't really stack with Fury.. in fact Violence status overwrites Fury's perma-berserk. what i mean is when Violence kicks in, you obviously still have Berserk status but it's coming from the Violence effect. you also got the 3x dmg multiplier. then i am pretty sure both the 3x dmg and berserk status go away after that round (or the next attack?)

In the battle against the Beast Rune, S-range fighters can attack from the back row for some reason.

In case I was was the only one who didn't know that, let me say sorry for posting this.

other players know about this but i would say most players don't notice that S-range mage in the back of their party suddenly has the Attack command available

McDohl - (flowing and blue gate)
Killey - (double beat, double strike, and fury)
Mukumuku - (double beat)

My permanent party. Yes, with Mukumuku.. ^^

I chose Riou, Viktor, Humphrey, Rikimaru, Sheena and Kinnison. And everyone died except Humphrey.
