I don't really see how that makes sense...but anyway why does Japan have to make the only extremely awesome series limited in terms of games released in the US, or in english to be more specific.

it means they ADDED content to the Saturn release, they didn't "cut" it from the original.

Sorry I meant what didn't make sense was how it came out on the Genesis after it did on the PS1, not the cut and add stuff....my fault for making that not clear.

The Hell spell did have some explosive sound effects AFAIK.

Yes in the psp version of suikoden1+2, "Hell" spell also has some explosive sound. But i prefer the original sound more.
