When Jowy is getting dragged away from his house begging to see his mother I always get choked up.

Also Gremio's death is a no-brainer. That guitar...

Jowy's devotion to Pilika throughout S2 always bugs me, not in a make-me-cry way, but in some other kind of genuinely tragic way.

When Culgan and Seed swear to Jowy and swear to protect him, that really gets me too.

The really sad part about Jowy's story, I think, is that if Hero hadn't come along, the war could have ended, Luca would be dead, Jowy would be king, and "peace" would have come. Culgan and Seed could have kept their lives. Pilika would have had a family. Hero and Nanami could have lived normal lives.

Of course, Neclord would still be alive...
