I'm relatively early in the game (just recruited Sigurd and Hervey) and Trishtan is one of my best fighters (next to Kika).

I just want to know -- was he this good a fighter in Suiko 4? I haven't used him very much or level him up yet.
You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes?
Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?

He wasn't too bad of a fighter in S4. His stats were very strange though; he had low STR but had high DEF and Skill. The problem is he joined relatively late in S4. He's a lot more useful in Tactics because he joins real early, and when he's on a kangacorn, he can do some serious damage with a kangacorn charge.

He has some really high SPD and HP which I find is a pretty odd combo.
Not great attack though.

his low LUK seems to attract enemies to attack him as well. because there are plenty of chances where they could have killed my weaker allies but instead of 2 enemies attacking the weaker ally, only 1 did and the other goes for Trishtan...
