I am doing the quest "Show us a sign" there is a battle on the deserted island coast. where mercenaries kill a crab. I am trying to treasure hunt with Rene and am not finding anything. Wondering if this is a map that does not regenerate, or if I am not looking hard enough. Is there anything to be found here. If so are the locations set or randomly gererated is there a standard number of treasures to be found on non-storyline battles. I am finding a lot of info on Obel and storyline dig maps but little on quest battles. Just don't want to waste tons of time scouring this map(while trying to keep red mercenary alive) if there is nothing to be found. Can anyone help?

Grrr... just as I suspected. No treasures on this map. what a waste of time.

OK just for future treasure hunters.

1)Items in all story battles
2)Items in Obel ruins and when hunting monsters
3)I have yet to find a single treasure in any of the quest battles and I think I've done them all except for "A letter of challenge", but based on my previous quest experience I highly doubt it will have any either

There are diggable treasures in Rage Dragon Egg quest, but that's the only one I've seen
