[Guide] Status information

Positive Statuses
Red Fire (Berserk): ATK x1.3
Blue Fire (Hyper aka "Alert" Status): MAG x1.3
Sword Up: ATK up 10% (why is the format of the number different)
"shiny" Sword: double damage for the next attack (from White Tiger Rune's Gather Strength spell)
Bulls-eye Up: Hit Rate up 10%
Ghosty face Up: Evasion Rate up 10%
Shield Up: PDF up 10%
Staff Up: MDF up 10%

Negative statuses
Wobbly person! - Unbalance: can't defend until the character's turn is up
Binded person - Shadow Weave status: can't move from the current spot (can still perform other actions such as Attack, Rune, Switch, etc)
(...) - Silence: can't use MP
Zzz - Sleep: character is unable to defend until hit; naturally dissipates after using Stand By for 2 turns
Broken Heart - Unfriendly: Good Will abilities such as Protection and Unites are disabled
Skull - Poison: 10% of Max HP is lost at the end of each turn
Man-eating Plant Mouth - trapped in a man-eating plant! Lose 30% of Max HP on the character's turn. Kill the enemy to release the character
Bucket - Blindness: Accuracy decreased by 50%
Balloon: 3 balloons will remove the character from the battle. Having 2 balloons sets the character's JMP to 3 (or possibly increases it by 3)

I think 2 balloons increase your Jump stat, something like that.

Silence shouldn't affect unites.

After looking a little closer…

“Red Fire” - Berserk: Atk x1.3

“Shining Sword” - Gathering: Double Atk on the next attack (from White Tiger Rune's Gather Strength spell)
“Target Up” - Hit Rate Up: Hit rate up by 10%
“Face Up” - Evade Rate Up: Evasion rate up by 10%
“Shield Up” - PDf Up: Protection from physical attacks up by 10%
“Staff Up” - MDf Up: Protection from magical attacks up by 10%
“Fire Sword” - Spell Sword: Attribute added upon attack. Floor also adds attribute upon movement.
“White Stroke” - Skill and Spell Immunity: self-explaining (from the Earth or Mother Earth Rune’s Vengeful Child spell)

“Wobbly Person” - Unbalance: Can't evade, parry or counter attack
“Bound Person” - Shadow Weave status: Can't make movement
“...” - Silence: Can't use rune skills and spells
“Zzz” - Sleep: Can’t take actions. An attack awakens the victim.
“Broken Heart” - Unfriendly: Unite attacks and conversations disabled for 1 turn
“Skull” - Poison: 10% of Max HP is lost at the end of each turn
Creeping Plant: Can’t take actions. Unit loses 30% of Max HP on each turn (unit’s turn).
Bucket: Hit rate down by 50%
Balloon: 2 balloons raise Jmp to 3. 3 balloons makes the victim be removed from battle.

from my experience, the broken heart lasts longer than 1 turn.. probably 2 until the 3rd turn is up

2 Balloons should "raise JMP by 3" right? doesn't fix their JMP to 3... if this had to be used to get some special item, it would actually be somewhat useful... but it's pretty much 100% useless lol

in the game, the invincible status is a shiny aura spinning around the character, not what the book has
