Okay, well I just pre-ordered my Suikoden V from Play.com which has the game slated for release on the first of September. It cost £29.99.

Just so you know, you just double posted. Unless my browser is fucked up.

Anyway, 1 september!? I'm glad I bought it on ebay yesterday. Hopefully I'l be able to play Suikoden 5 in a week. I wonder... are you going to get the bonus? I doubt it but I'd thought id ask.

Double posting should be fine whenever it's been a while, since no one would know an addition was made if Lemmy simply edited his post. Double posting within minutes is not OK, however.

I was only pointing towards the fact that he had double posted. I was not sure if he was aware of it. I thought he didin't know he had already posted.

To get back on topic: Lemmy, will you receive the bonus stuff for pre-ordering in the UK?

I honestly don't know, sorry. I doubt it though, it didn't mention anything on the site. I don't think the US got the bonuses did they?

The US and Canada got the bonuses, although some stores didn't support it and some people weren't able to get theirs.

CD actually, and an artbook. I've heard the artbook is pretty shitty though.

Okay, thanks for the info. ^_^

It'd be cool to get those things but I wouldn't be bothered if I didn't.

I've got those things for pre-ordering over the 'net from Gamestop. But if it's anything like Tactics or IV, then we won't see any of the limited edition stuff. We got nada for the past 2 games.

Everytime a new Suikoden game comes out I have to relearn how to use E-bay...

Except for 4, where my parents brought if for me in America because they knew it wouldn't come out over here *Sigh*

Just so everyone knows:

PAL Suikoden V release date moved back to September 29th.

I feel backstabbed.

That's been the Australian PAL release for awhile now.

As far as I'm aware only Gameplay states it's Septemeber 29th for the UK, which is all I care about.

And I'mma go search for different sources

Links saying UK PAL is 1st September:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suikoden_V
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000 ... y&v=glance
http://uk.gamespot.com/ps2/rpg/suikoden5/index.html

Links saying UK PAL is 29th September:

http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/pro ... ode=PT2243
http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation2/ ... suikoden+v

Now, is it just me or is Play.com ripping people off?

(Oh, and Koyu, do you have a Konami link confirming the moving of the release date?)

They have Suikoden V listed in news, but not as a product. If I recall correctly, Konami listed Suikoden IV three weeks prior to release, and Tactics two and a half weeks before its release.

I'll expect Suikoden V to be listed around the same time.

But, the release date has just changed (as in yesterday it was September 1st), so not everyone might get the news at the same time.
