No, i'm not really a big Metal fan. Black Sabbath, ACDC and Iron Maiden do it for me, all the rest is just garbage i think. But i would go if i won tickets just to listen to the above bands.

Yep, I've got all of their records. My favourite song of all is Welcome to the Jungle, The riff and solos in it are just great.

Grindcore, Darkwave, Sludge? These are genres? haha I'm very out of the loop it seems.

Edit:

Oh, and so far you appear on topic, I'll let you know otherwise. However, really long lists without reasons are generally a waste of bandwidth so try to keep that to a minimum.

Yep. Grindcore is more or less an amalgamation of death metal and punk, i.e. very fast and very heavy. Darkwave is a type of industrial music but is generally more accessable and danceable. Sludge is the name given to bands that play very slow, but still very heavy metal music. Generally from places like Louisiana, Mississipi, etc.

I like a bit of everything but it usually all stems from some sort of rock.

I like industrial like KMFDM, Gravity kills and others. But my favorite band is Green Day. Always has been, always will be probably. I am getting into some metal stuff now too. I like it all. I don't have one set preference.

And speaking of Stained, I am really sick of that single "Falling," they play it way too much on my radio station.

Just a "corporate" genre description. Not really metal, though. They don't fit in with just their distortions and techno-wazzy stuff.

But overall, you know your stuff. So, motorhead's only #2?

Motorhead are my second favourite band, yes, how'd you work that out? I never had any bands listed in a particular order :?

Ahem, anyway, no matter what you want to call it, those bands I listed are widely labelled "Industrial Metal", hence that's the heading I put them under.

I'm into System of a Down right now. Revenga, Forest, Aerials, Old School Hollywood, and Violent Pornography are some of my fav songs by them. Oh, and I can't forget B.Y.O.B. and Chop Suey.
And if I saw you dancing, I would spin you around, spin you around, turn your world upside down
