I found an Extremly RARE SUIKODEN IV GAME!!! Please HELP

Hi, I am new on this website and I am from Spain.

I found an extremly rare item from Genso Suikoden IV NTSC US version and I don't know exactly what is it, so I need your help.

There you can see that It has the words SUIKODEN IV US PS2, so It makes me think that it is not an asian copy. What do you think?

But the printing is wrong. It says it's a DVD game rather than a DVD ROM, it carries no Playstation, Sony or Konami logos.

As for the disc image it doesn't appear to have any PS2 markings in the inner most circle like it should, and tellingly, my genuine copy isn't marked with the title like that one is, it just a product code: PDSS-012985A1. Nowhere does it say SUIKODEN IV.

In fact I checked all my copies of Suikoden IV from all regions and version and none of them have anything but the product code, and looking at the remaining PS2 titles I have the story is the same, they use product codes rather than the titles.

I don't know what it is either. I have NTSC and PAL version too and they are differents from this one.

I was thinking if it is a Press copy, prototype or something like that.

I believe that it is too good to be an Asian copy.

Well if that's what you want to believe despite all evidence to the contrary then there's nothing we can say to dissuade you.

But the chances of an official Konami release not carrying a single Konami logo is 0%.

What Riou and Jowy have to do in a SIV copy? Definitely looks like some amateur pirate version.

I remember when I was a kid I bought a game called "Pokemon Klonoa" from our local flea market for Playstation. I thought it was some Pokemon game for Playstaion, but it was actually just a pirate version of Klonoa.

Makes me wonder if SUikoden really was that popular at one point that these semi-professional bootlegs were made. I remember buying two Suikoden soundtracks on ebay which were also bootlegs (boo!), but games? Even if this is just a ripoff, this is a cool collector's item.

Suikoden was at its peak after the release of SII. Since the release of SIII it started going downhill.
