The only one we know that could read the sindar lenguage was Alex (Suikoden II), so he could enter to the sindar ruins.

Sarah is fluent with the language. And, if I'm remembering this correctly, both Yuber and Luc also have a working knowledge of the Cyndarin tongue in the manga.

Also, don't forget how Jowy learned a bit of Sindarin from his stepfather, which would probably suggest that the father should be in know of the language to a certain extent.

Well, I know that they must really like mazes to have made their ruins so confusing. Or am I the only one that got lost in SII's Sindar maze?

Also, I don't think those devices were meant to be used to destroy a rune but simply amplify a rune's power, thus Luc saw it as an oppertunity to amplify the other runes to destroy his own. or something, I may be wrong.

Maybe they created it to destroy the Rune of Change and end their suffering.

They could have, but if they did so, wouldn't it disrupt the balence of the world if one of the 27 True Runes that govern the world was destroyed? I doubt that they would destroy it, they would have most likely sealed it with the techniques that the Flame Champion and Jimba used to seal their runes.

OH!!!!!!!!! that one chick with the whip in 5 that you get at the sindar ruins......i talked to her once and she said she came from a small uncharted island and that she was a sindar herself.....so im thinking sense she knows that dude in the red that follows you around he might be one too...althought thats just a guess

>.<

and why would they wont to destroy the world you ask??...oh wait they did didnt they?

from the looks of it, if they did try to kill themselves, they did it?

and the first queen of felena was said to come down from the sky or something like that and she bore the sun rune

but it shows that she came from a secret passage or something like that

i could go on forever but i'll let other people tell cause...yeah.....i dont wanna be a kill joy

>.<

They seemed to use alot of technology with water. For example in S2 you have a sluice wich looks almost the same as in S5.

We also know they were all over the world, they had ruins at:

Gregminster (Toran)
Pannu Yakuta (Toran)
White Deer Inn (Dunan)
Ancient Highway (Grasslands)
Ceremonial Site (Grasslands)
Flame Champion Hideaway (Grasslands)
Obel (Island Nations)

As well as what's in Falena, but I probably shouldn't talk about that here.

Their tech indeed seems very advanced, maybe even surpassing our own...maybe.
