I liked Fred Maximillian's armor. The crest on the chestplate and the mini forearm shield is the truth. Sonya Shuhlen's armor looked tough too.. well for a lady.

Actually I feel a lot of the females look tougher than some of the males. Put Hugo and Chris side by side, who looks tougher? The obvious answer is Chris. I'm not saying all males look less tought, take Luca, Kiba and Ridley, they look very tough, I'm trying to say that the females of the series are also tough looking and thta Suikoden has never been one to make all ladies look frail and weak.

i think its futile to generalize all male are this and all females are that

after all there will always be exceptions the these rules

take for examples hmmm, Karen or Tomo or that elf that hangs around Shabon

those girls don't look so tough

even Freed's and Yoshino's daughter don't look like a toughie (stat wise as well)

i could ramble for ages justifying that your genrealization just isn't justifiable

some girls do look frail and damsel-like

Josephine anyone?

Josephine anyone?

She actually fought well. Better than some others. Considering that a 'fashion diva' like herself should behave in a refined and epicurean manner, she can definitely take care of herself in battle though depending if you cared to level her up.....so I say she's one tough cookie.

Yes, Sarah was pretty good at magic. And why does she even have to stick to doing laundry if she's got that ability? I tell ya, she needs to go places.

Sarah was good at magic in S1 i never knew this. The next time I play it I will have to put her in the party. I have never used her in my squad. Her character just seemed and looked so weak. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah, me, too. I seldom used her in my party 'cause well.......she's busy doing laundry.....and I wouldn't wanna disturb her. And doing laundry all day makes you look kinda fragile.

I think we're taking into consideration both looks/fashion and battle potency about Josephine and Sarah. Sorry if it sounded kinda off-topic for a while.

i liked millies french inspired outfit....it was very clean looking and neat. if only you could take away that big blob of monster on her shoulder away....

Aida and Kinnison had amazing archey outfits....Aida's clothes reminded me of Alma Kinan...

oh, and flik looked like a super hero with his cape...eecckk...blue lighting = super hero...

I kinda agree on the Aida part. But it also reminded me of an American Indian style....somewhat.

Me to!

I love Ridleys outfit, it really set's him apart from the other kobolds. Gengen and his buddies are all walking around with shorts on, and very simple clothing. Then you have General Ridley with his awesome Green jacket and he is clearly, just by looking, important.
