Egbert = Spammer?

Has anybody noticed that Egbert (the crazy guy from S5) has been heavily influenced by internet spammers?

In one letter in the comment box he says:


"You have to send exact copies of this letter to twenty-seven people within twenty-seven days. If you don't, you'll be a 'filthy devil.' FILTHY DEVIL! "


That comment was TOO spam-esque.

And every time you talk to him he repaets the phrase "FILTHY DEVILS,etc"...so i thought that this character maybe has been inspired by internet spammers

I don't think the filthy devils comment has anything to do with spam, more that he's just set in his ways of hate towards the Godwins.

But yeah, I read the comment box thing as a reference to spam emails.

Not really. Chain letters predate the internet by about 30 years.

And if you remember, Sid did the same thing with his 'cursed' letter.
