Georg?

In regards to the issue of the timeline mentioned: Georg is in his 40s in 2 (41 or 42 I believe) so he's been around a while.

I had the same issue with deciding to use Georg for a while, because 1 rune slot as Palmguy said does limit what you can do with them. It always pained me to remove him from my party since he is my favorite character. Though on my last play through I went for a party with high speed (Gale runes on everyone) so he fit in quite well here since he's quite fast, I was thrilled to use him for the first time in like 10+ play throughs.
